Fiorella Del Carpio serves as Chief People Officer at Magnolia Public Schools, where she leads the organization’s people, talent, culture, and organizational health strategy and serves as a member of the executive leadership team. She partners closely with school and organizational leaders to build strong teams, develop leaders, strengthen culture, and create systems that balance employee experience with clarity and accountability.

Since joining Magnolia, Fiorella has led the evolution of the organization’s traditional Human Resources function into a more holistic People & Culture model. Her leadership has included developing Magnolia’s first progressive discipline framework and organizational leveling structure, centralizing onboarding, expanding leadership coaching and support for school administrators, and leading work to strengthen compensation and career pathways. She also led employee engagement efforts that contributed to Magnolia earning Great Place to Work certification.

Education equity has been the throughline of Fiorella’s career. Before joining Magnolia, she spent more than a decade at the California Charter Schools Association, where her work evolved from parent organizing and family and community engagement to organizational leadership and ultimately leading Human Capital. Earlier in her career at Crystal Stairs, she worked alongside low-income families to expand access to early childhood education, childcare, and public benefits. Across each chapter of her career, she has remained grounded in the belief that strong organizations and great schools begin with people.

Originally from Peru, Fiorella immigrated to the United States at age five and grew up in Los Angeles County. She is a first-generation college graduate and earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Minor in Economics from California State University, Los Angeles. She also completed Cornell University’s Diversity and Inclusion for HR certificate program.
