Alfredo Rubalcava - Chief Executive Officer & Superintendent
Mr. Rubalcava brings a well-rounded perspective as a
previous Magnolia Public Schools Teacher, Athletic Director, Dean of Students,
Principal, Chief External Officer, to the present as CEO & Superintendent.
When he started out as one of the founding teachers of
Magnolia Public Schools in 2002, he knew he was part of the beginning of
something truly special. Back when STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering,
Art, and Math) wasn’t the buzz word it is today. The teachers and staff were
dedicated to creating schools designed to focus on ensuring students excelled
academically and were driven by innovation and connection. It was a novel idea
back then, but the organization was committed and 17 years later, Magnolia
Public Schools has graduated hundreds of students—many of whom have gone on to
STEAM careers.
